was formed in 1998 to successfully establish and build sales and distribution
of wine brands throughout the U.S. and world. GWG brought together a highly experienced and successful management team that collectively has over 200 years of experience in the wine industry, has sold over 100 million cases of wine, and has built distribution in the U.S. and nearly 50 countries around the world. The management team brings wine experience from virtually every segment of the industry – winery ownership; national and international sales management; hotel and restaurant management; wine retail; wine wholesale distribution and import/export management. GWG searched California for the optimum location to establish its winery, and they chose Lodi. Lodi, which is the largest and oldest wine grape production area in California, provides the perfect environment for quality and affordable prices. GWG’s Lodi base is an important factor in the company’s overall long-term strategic plan. The management team developed a strategic master plan that was based
on the needs and desires of the consumer. Fashioned after famous consumer
product giants like Procter and Gamble, GWG strives to understand the
target consumer, and then they produce wines that address those specific
